The Wendy's Raccoon ad
What would happen if ordinary suburban raccoons could steal cars... and drive?
The answer to this provocative question is supplied by an amazing new commercial. It turns out that they would go to Wendy's and order hamburgers.
Now, consider this: Raccoons are scavengers. They eat out of your garbage can.
Why have scavengers serve as the mascots for a restaurant chain? Or if you're fully committed to a scavenger-themed campaign why not choose something a little more exotic than Dumpster bandits? Vultures might be nice.
Vulture #1: You know what would be good? A Big Bacon Classic® from Wendy's.
Vulture #2: Yeah, I was just going to eat a dead rat, but suddenly I'm in the mood for Wendy's.
Way to honor the awesome legacy of Dave Thomas, guys.
