Sassone, cartoonifiedBob Sassone

Bob was born on June 9, 1965, in Gloucester, MA, which is famous for its beautiful beaches, art colonies, a Hollywood blockbuster, and fish sticks.

He is the editor of Professor Barnhardt's Journal, and has written for many publications and sites, including Salon, The Boston Herald, McSweeney's, Ironminds, Compuserve, Cape Ann Weekly, and North Shore Magazine. A former section editor for Tripod and iUniverse.com, his book of essays/short fiction, "Book, With Books and Pages," will be released in March, 2003.

He has also been involved in sales and advertising for Billboard, Musician, Wired, Movieline, and Boston.com, The Boston Globe's website.

Things he likes: pizza, tea, 1950s pop culture and design, tennis, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, The Simpsons, Charles Schulz, Letterman.

Things he doesn't like: football, humidity, lobster, the guy who is always leaving empty soda cans on his stairs, Leno.

He cannot swim. He loves to cook. He was once an extra on a long-running TV show.
