Bob Sassone
Bob was born on June 9, 1965, in Gloucester, MA, which
is famous for its beautiful beaches, art colonies, a Hollywood
blockbuster, and fish sticks.
He is the editor of Professor
Barnhardt's Journal, and has written for many
publications and sites, including Salon, The Boston
Herald, McSweeney's, Ironminds, Compuserve, Cape Ann
Weekly, and North Shore Magazine. A former section
editor for Tripod and iUniverse.com, his book of
essays/short fiction, "Book, With Books and Pages,"
will be released in March, 2003.
He has also been involved in sales and advertising for
Billboard, Musician, Wired, Movieline, and Boston.com,
The Boston Globe's website.
Things he likes: pizza, tea, 1950s pop culture and
design, tennis, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, The
Simpsons, Charles Schulz, Letterman.
Things he doesn't like: football, humidity, lobster,
the guy who is always leaving empty soda cans on his
stairs, Leno.
He cannot swim. He loves to cook. He was once an
extra on a
long-running TV show.
