Chris Junior

Name: Chris M. Junior

Age: Old enough to know better, young enough to still take a chance

Number of times people have commented and/or joked about my last name: Somewhere between a million and a billion.

Place of residence: Rahway, N.J. Yes, I know there's a state prison nearby. No, I've never been among its residents. And yes, it's the same prison that housed former boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter.

Has written for: Courier News (Bridgewater, N.J.), The Star-Ledger (Newark, N.J.), Goldmine (Iola, Wis.), Rhythm (Britain), Unique Homes (Princeton, N.J.) and The Inside Connection (Centereach, N.Y.), among other publications, plus a few Internet sites.

Funniest moment of my journalism career: Accidentally placing a prominent New York radio personality on hold for several minutes and, once I got back on the phone, realizing that my interview subject never stopped talking.

Most embarrassing moment of my journalism career: Accidentally implying to jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, a onetime teacher at Boston's Berklee College of Music, that he didn't seem like the type of musician who would have charts ready for an orchestra.
