Flak Photo Guidelines

An ideal submission will have some sort of hook or purpose (not simply a shot of a baby, your dog or that puddle outside your apartment) and aim to comment upon or reframe something familiar, or introduce the spectator to a new subject, place, or technique.

Every photo should be accompanied by a descriptive caption, including the location and photograph date. Captions should be as brief, informative, and clean as possible; no rambling reflections, no overly chatty or stylized entries. Photographers are encouraged to place links within their captions to expand upon the photo's ideas without overwhelming its balance.

To submit your work for consideration, email your photo (max 800 px width / max 600 px height) with caption (no hard word count, but lean toward short and sweet) to Andy at Flak Photo
